The Bride

II purchased my gown from a nationwide tour called Brides Against Breast Cancer. It's a wonderful cause & 100% of the proceeds go to grant wishes for terminally ill breast cancer patients. For more info please visit http://bridesagainstbreastcancer.org/ Here's a picture of me in it without the hoop skirt underneath.

This is the second reception dress I purchased. The first was beautiful (& inexpensive!) but wasn't "weddingy" (like my new word?) enough for me. For a whopping $5 more than my first reception dress, I purchased this beauty from Long's Bridal in Orlando, FL. They were having a HUGE sale to consolidate their two store locations. I went in to find a dress for my FMIL, but when I saw this dress I couldn't take my eyes off of it. When the lady told me it had a detachable train (PERFECT for the reception)  I almost cried with excitement and had to try it on. Then when the lady told me this lovely dress could be all mine for $25 I almost kissed her! (Okay, not really... but seriously!) The dress was originally $800! Best wedding deal EVER? I'd say so.

Bridesmaids

Our wedding colors are canary & clover. The bridesmaids will be wearing floor length tie back chiffon dresses from David's Bridal. Two of the girls will wear canary & the other two will wear clover.  These are the dresses in the two colors.

The Flower Girl

We found a beautiful dress that matches the detailing on the bride's gown from Burlington Coat Factory on sale after "communion season". We have since added a clover green sash to the waist to match the bridesmaids dresses.

The Groom

The groom will be wearing his own black tuxedo with a white vest & bow tie in the same pattern as the groomsmen's vest & tie.

Groomsmen

The groomsmen will wear their own black tuxes (or rent them) and will have matching yellow vests & bow ties (surprise - the groom chose the bow ties!) The colors coordinate with the canary yellow of the bridesmaids dresses.
