Centerpieces

After looking at the price of real flowers, I made the decision to use fake ones. I felt our budget would be better spent on things which will affect our guests such as better food, drinks, etc. rather than on flowers which will soon be forgotten. With the help of a friend (who is also acting as our wedding planner) we purchased a number of single stemmed yellow lilies, green hydrangea and star flowers, and white filler from a variety of stores (Michael's, Old Time Pottery, and even the Dollar Tree!) I found these fabulous antique looking bicycle planters to put the flowers in that go perfectly with our "Spring" theme.  I think these will make nice keepsakes for any family members who would like to take them home, and we plan to donate any leftovers to a local nursing home.

Bridesmaid Bouquets

The same flowers we are using for the centerpieces will also be used for the bridesmaid bouquets.

Bride's Bouquet

For my own bouquet I want a mix of green hydrangea (like the bridesmaid bouquets) and yellow cymbidium orchids.
